Dana Dimassi

Head of Primary

My name is Dana Dimassi, and I have seventeen years of experience as a dedicated PYP educator and 7years as a Leader.

I held leadership positions at two other international PYP schools before joining ACT.

I earned my BA in Elementary Education from the  American University of Beirut, Lebanon and I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Bath, UK.

Before stepping into the role of PYP coordinator, I dedicated myself to teaching students aged 6 to 12 within the PYP framework as a Homeroom Teacher. 

I firmly believe in the power of student-centred learning, enriched by differentiated teaching and learning practices.

I have a role in training and coaching teachers to embrace the philosophy of an IB education in the primary years and  I am a member of the IB Educator Network as a Programme Leader.

In this capacity, I have the privilege of assisting international PYP schools worldwide in enhancing their implementation of the PYP.

Balancing my roles as an educator, dancer, traveller, and mother allows me to lead a rich and fulfilling life here in Albania filled with diverse experiences and meaningful connections.
